Sherbert Vocals: the sweet life
Sherbert vocals mission is to bring a more engaging and individual teaching experience to the vocal coaching sector, no matter your age or ability level.
We tailor our lessons to promote a hands-on personality-driven vocal course with an emphasis on developing your own individual style, sound and genre, and understanding the physiology of your instrument in a safe, open and judgement-free space.
We aim to combine the holistic and technical with our lessons which cover not only topics such as vocal theory and management but also artistic development and confidence building, among many others.
We believe that creativity and colour should be at the heart of everything we do as musicians and artists - and we look forward to adding your colour to our ranks soon!
My Background
Professional Vocalist and dedicated teacher
I have been a vocalist for over a decade and a half. I have a passion for singing and love to share this with my students. I achieved grade 8 distinction in vocals when I was 17 and in the years since have further honed my craft with a vocals degree and by running vocal coaching lessons.
My personal attitude towards vocal lessons is that creativity and technicality too often aren't put hand in hand. By having the freedom to experiment and make mistakes within good technique and physiological knowledge it is so much easier to help each singer find their spark, their sound, their voice!
